Enable Required Permissions

Due to Android's restrictions on background activity and app notifications, the app may encounter the following issues when it is not actively in use:

  • Reminders may not be delivered on time.
  • After swiping the app away and then reopening it, automatic synchronization of updates from other devices may no longer work.

You can prevent these issues by manually adjusting the app's permissions in Android Settings.

Disable Battery Optimization

  1. Go to Settings → Apps, open the app list, and select PlanTodo.
  2. Under Battery, select Allow background activity.

Allow App Notifications

  1. Go to Settings → Apps, open the app list, and select PlanTodo.
  2. Under Notifications, enable notifications. Depending on your needs, also allow notifications to appear on the lock screen and as banners, and allow sound and vibration.
